Two TV dramas that The Flying Colour Company (TFCC) provided visual effects shots for were the recipients of RTS Craft and Design awards this week.
Mammoth Screen’s The City and The City for BBC2 (pictured) won two awards on the night with Marianne Agertoft victorious in the Costume Design – Drama category while Simon Rogers picked up the award for Best Production Design on a Drama.
At the same time, Stephen Frears was named as best drama director for A Very English Scandal, the Blueprint Television production for BBC and Amazon.
Composer Murray Gold was also rewarded for the same show, picking up the gong for best original score.
TFCC provided 120 VFX shots for The City and the City and 212 for A Very English Scandal.
The RTS (Royal Television Society) Craft & Design Awards recognise excellence in broadcast television in 29 categories from directing to make up design.
The prestigious awards were presented at a ceremony hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen on 26 November at the London Hilton on Park Lane.
